It鈥檚 funny how hello always ends with a goodbye.

It鈥檚 funny how good memories can start to make you cry.

It鈥檚 funny how forever never really seems to last.

It鈥檚 funny how much you鈥檇 lose if you forget about your past.

It鈥檚 funny how friends can just leave you when you鈥檙e down.

It鈥檚 funny how when you need someone they鈥檙e always never around.

It鈥檚 funny how people change and they think they鈥檙e so much better.

It鈥檚 funny how many lies can be packed in one handwritten letter.

It鈥檚 funny how people forgive though they can forget.

It鈥檚 funny how one might contain so much regret.

It鈥檚 funny how ironic life turns out to be.

But the funniest part of all, none of that鈥檚 funny to me.

I need someone to help me find techniques of poetry in the poem above. I need 3 please :) Things such as rhyme, structure, simile, metaphor, repetition etc.

It's funny how you need someone, and yet they're not around

It's funny how people change and think they're so much better

It's funny how so many lies can be packed in just one letter

It's funny how people can forgive but not forget

It's funny how one might contain so much they still regret

It's funny how ironic someone's life turns out to be

But, the funniest part of all is, none of that's funny to me.



I'm only making these suggestions because you asked for help with structure. I didn't want to change much of your work, because it doesn't need it. Please don't take any of this as criticism. The way your poem is, moved me, and I give you a 10/10. When finding structure in poetry, think of it as music. Tap your foot while you read each sentence back to yourself, and see if it fits together. Sometimes you need to leave out a word, and sometimes you need to insert another syllable. Keep up the good work, and feel free to email me if you ever need help with another.

rhyme, metaphor irony

They probably won't work but you can use them.

You can make other poems that has some of the same themes or words etc. But do not change this poem. It is complete and worthy. Funny how an author can't recognize a great poem when they just wrote it.
