They got it by looking through my things and threatening etc... How can you protect your social security number in the future? I was told that the soc. sec. number was to be left the way it is, but this is terrible and a bad situation unless, could there be a special circumstance like an emergency where it could be changed or something? If someone has used your social security number and opened accounts and forged your name, that is identity theft. Contact your local law enforcement and file a identify theft report. This will start the long process of getting items back on track.

You need to file an identity theft report all over the place. Youre state has a consumer fraud division that helps consumers with a variety of forms and issues. You know alot of parents abuse their childrens social security numbers making it hard later for the child to get good credit when they come of age. Let me ask you, why is this NOT A CRIME? This is not what social security is for. I think if you contact a lawyer or legal aid they can advise you on filing to do, I think you also need to notify the credit bureaus of the abuse at the time you discover it. Your parents do not have the right to USE Your social security number and then ruin you. You can also write to the mortgage companies and insurance companies and credit card companies and advise them that you are either a minor , or in fact did not know of the use of it. Im not sure police would make a report, they hardly take criminal reports anymore.. their too busy eating doughnuts .. but anyhow.. you need to get a credit report under your social security number SEE WHAT CREDIT IS LISTED AGAINST YOUR NAME.. and then if its BAD .. write to them and tell them its not you, if its good, that may not hurt you necessarily when you go to apply for your own credit cards later. But make a record of it at the time you find out , so if the person doesnt pay the bills you wont get stuck with their theft of your number. IF youre a kid you have legal recourse against the misuse by your parents.

I strongly dislike (understatement!!!) my hand writing. It's scratchy, and for some reason, always.....different. Like, if i write two C's next to each other, they're veeery different looking. Like two different people wrote them. I was wondering if it's possible to change (permanently) my hand writing. I moved closer to the corner of the hallway with weapon in hand. A sharp bladed knife ready to kill anything or anyone with intentions of hurting me. I held my grip to it tightly making sure it wouldn't slip from my grasp.

I knew him when he was much younger, and just returned within the last few months to the same church I knew him from years ago. Upon learning that my degree is in English, I became the logical choice (according to his parents/guardians) to tutor him. I agreed, not realizing how much the little bugger had changed in 10 years. The first 1/2 of the first night of %26quot;tutoring%26quot; consisted of me showing him how to read for answers, not actually reading the whole book, because he clearly didn't care enough to do that . . . so I gave him the shortcut. Yeah, my bad. After that, it devolved into basically me doing his tests and papers online, maybe he watches, 95% of the time he doesn't. Again, my bad, I wanted to get rid of him . . .save your chastising, I know I deserve it anyway. I told him 4 days ago to bring 2-3 sources for his project today, and have 3-4 pages handwritten so I'd know where he wanted to go with it. After his ride had pulled away, I found that he had nothing with him and basically wanted to just hang out.

I would just let his parents know what he has been doing. I think that if he is acting in such a way, you need to let them know that you can no longer handle his actions and attitude. If he gives you no respect, you shouldn't have to put up with it anymore. You might need to fess up too, but if it gets him out of your hair it should be worth it.
You're situation is tough, because like you said, it isn't a formal agreement. You are helping out a %26quot;friend%26quot; basically. It all comes down to if you are willing to possibly ruin the friendship with his parents. Because you have to be straight up, and say that you cannot work with him anymore, because his work ethic just isn't there. If he truly was there to get his grade up, and if he cared, then he should show it. And he isn't showing it, so call his parents one night soon and tell them exactly what has been going on. ANY parent would be furious with their child, and make them get into shape.
